Train Your Mind For Strategy Online

Internet has now become a huge repository of knowledge and sharing device in the world we live in, This is eventually changing the way our minds process information. It is not only an interesting topic to think about, we can/should also analyze this and use the technology and the new world order to our advantage. Human mind is agile, can be attuned to most new situations and has evolved to process a certain kind of information flow. This is beginning to change now, anyone and everyone can share bits and pieces of information and anyone can read that info if it comes up. The longer and more detailed articles get, they are being read less and less. If there is a limit to the information one can share, surprisingly, it seems to get more popular such as Twitter.
When we read online we are less likely to remember or value the information we see. If you know you can look it up on Google anytime & anywhere you want on your iPad, you are less likely to save it in your biologic memory. On the other hand you can process smaller information more selectively and come to faster conclusions. Mankind has created different ways to train the mind throughout the history with advancements. They have created the game of "chess", philosophers gave deep thoughts to strategics and now there is a massive information bank as close to you as your phone. Why not use that to do a couple brain teasers, have fun and practice to think strategically.
Strategic battle
Strategic battle
Here's a few ideas to do so
Step 1: Find sources that will quickly tune you into figuring out the rules, allows you to make up your own strategies and there are even fun ways to do so! Play this tower defense game or Warlords game if you haven't done so before and try to work these escape games out. This is much better than mindlessly watching Youtube or reading Twitter.
Step 2: Find out more sophisticated communities such as chess players. Some of the greatest chess players are online and sometimes available to play.
Step 3: Contribute. You must have a lot of things to share too, and when you share yourself, you get more familiar with the information and reduce the risk of not remembering.
Step 4: This is also another fun way; MMO's (Mass Multiplayer Online). DarkOrbit, SeaFight or Battlestar Galactica, are very good ones to try and actually very complicated and strategic formations. You can build up your own strategy and compete it with other people's. There will always be someone better than you and what else can better improve your strategic planning skills.
